Tom Cruise e Katie Holmes hanno fatto un pò di shopping natalizio domenica sera, ma non per comprare regali per la piccola Suri. Poco dopo la chiusura del più famoso negozio di New York City, il FAO Schwarz, la coppia è entrata per un pò di acquisti natalizi per bambini che non conoscono. I due hanno riempito infatti carrelli di bambole, giocattoli, libri e giochi destinati all'associazione benefica Stockings with Care, una organizzazione no-profit che da regali a bambini in difficoltà. L'associazione, fondata nel 1992, assiste famiglie senzatetto o con gravi difficoltà, esaudendo i desideri di centinaia di bambini in modo tale che abbiano regali da aprire la mattina di Natale per "creare la magia del Natale."
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes did a little holiday shopping on Katie's day off from the theater – but not for trinkets for little Suri.
Shortly after New York City's famed toy store, FAO Schwarz, closed Sunday, the couple slipped in to go on a little shopping spree for children they don't even know. They are expected to pile up shopping carts full of dolls, toys, books, and games to donate to Stockings with Care, a not-for-profit organization that gives gifts to children in need. The organization, founded in 1992, assists homeless and near-homeless families by fulfilling thousands of needy children's "wish lists" for presents to open on Christmas morning to "create the magic of Christmas."

Katie e Suri sono state fotografate mentre tornavano a casa dopo una giornata di shopping natalizio, ieri.Qualche ora dopo Tom è stato fotografato con in mano dei disegni di Suri.
    
Katie was spotted taking baby Suri for a pre-Christmas outing in New York yesterday. Hours later, Cruise was pictured proudly holding paintings with Suri's
name on them as he returned to their family apartment in New York.

Katie aveva le mani totalmente occupate: teneva in braccio la piccola Suri e tutti suoi animali di peluche e bambole, mentre ieri sera lasciavano il loro appartamento per andare a vedere l'albero gigante di Natale al Rockefeller Center ieri sera. Sono poi passate da Dean & Deluca a compare alcuni dolcetti e biscotti.
Katie has her hands completely full, carrying daughter Suri, and all of her stuffed animals and dolls while leaving their apartment. Katie takes daughter Suri to see the visit the giant Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. Afterward, the mother-daughter duo grabbed a few sweet treats — including some cookies! — from the nearby Dean & Deluca.

Nell'intervista al The New York Times Style Magazine Katie ha parlato anche di Suri.
"Prova a vedere New York attraverso gli occhi di Suri. Lei va a scuola di musica e a passegio in Central Park."
Le lezioni di ginnastica al Chelsea Piers non sono state un successo, così la coppia ha improvvisato. "C'erano troppe persone così Tom ha deciso di prendere un appartamento nel nostro palazzo e trasformarlo in una palestra per lei" spiega Katie.
